My mom & Sean babysat while Amy and I were there, and Chaos then joined the four of us for Ethiopian for dinner, followed by three kinds of tasty cheesecake, ka-yum. Yay for birthdays. :^)

It was a beautiful day here so we did a ton of work around the house--from sweeping to cleaning kitchen counters of debris to tidying the basement of children's toys to cleaning the inexplicable scum (don't want to think about it) from the basement sink to planting 4 pots of sweet peas and building and lining two new garden boxes (dirt/compost blend will come on Friday).
Felt good to be so productive but now, my body hurts a lot.
